A person designated as a "Competent Person" by the Director General & Chief Inspector, Dock Safety, witnesses and signs each test certificate.

At EEK's Kamani Works in Mumbai, we operate five hydraulic splicing presses — capacities of 150, 500, 500, 1,000 and 3,000 tonnes — capable of splicing wire rope up to 90 mm in diameter. Every wire-rope sling, hook block and assembly we manufacture is proof-tested in our 250-tonne in-house test house, approved by the Director General of Shipping. Every test certificate is witnessed by a Competent Person, and carries full traceability.
EEK is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and operates a Government Approved Test House with every certificate witnessed by a Competent Person designated by the Director General & Chief Inspector, Dock Safety.
