01 · Thimble

Heart-shape thimble eye

Hot-dipped galvanised steel insert that lines the eye of a wire-rope sling. Protects the rope from chafing where a shackle pin or hook bears on it. Manufactured to IS 2315 dimensions.

02 · Spelter Socket

Open or closed spelter socket

Conical forged-steel socket. The wire-rope strands are fanned out inside the cone and locked with poured zinc spelter or resin. Maintains 100 % of the rope's breaking strength — the strongest termination available.

03 · Wedge Socket

US-type wedge socket

Open trapezoidal body with a drop-in wedge. The live end takes the load, the dead end loops back through and is secured. Designed to be re-installed in the field — common on cranes where the rope needs periodic replacement.

04 · US-type Clamp

Forged saddle & U-bolt

Forged steel saddle with a U-bolt straddling both rope sections. Mantra: "Never saddle a dead horse" — the saddle sits on the live (loaded) end, the U-bolt grips the dead (loop-back) end. Multiple clamps spaced at 6× rope diameter form a complete eye.

05 · Bull-Dog Grip

Heavy-duty forged grip

British-pattern grip — single forged saddle with U-bolt and twin hex nuts. Both rope ends pass under the same saddle, with the U-bolt clamping from above. Common on guy ropes, marine rigging and where a heavier-duty grip than the US-type clamp is required.
